Designed for all diesel engines with any fuel system, the spray cleans the manifold, intake valves and EGR unit. The EGR valve, which is part of diesel engines, is used to recycle a certain amount of exhaust gases in the cylinder. Part of the fresh air supply is therefore replaced by exhaust gases in order to reduce the temperature during combustion with a consequent drop in nitrogen oxide. By recycling the exhaust gases, the valve is exposed to contamination and malfunction. EGR valve cleaner is specially formulated to clean the EGR unit and also cleans the intake manifold and valves.
